Mission & Purpose
Greater St. Paul African Methodist Episcopal Church was established over one hundred years ago by African-American pioneers of the Coconut Grove community in an effort to embrace the dream of our African Methodist Episcopal forefathers, to freely uplift the building of God's Kingdom through worship and praise. Hence, it is the will and commitment of the church-at-large to uplift the building of His Kingdom through worship, praise, prayer and supplication, and to inspire the spiritual, intellectual, economic, and personal growth of all people with a benevolent spirit and willingness to serve all mankind.
Apostles' Creed
I believe in God, the Father Almighty, Maker of heaven and earth, and in Jesus Christ his only son our Lord who was conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin Mary, suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, dead and buried. The third day he arose from the dead; he ascended into heaven and sits at the right hand of God the Father Almighty; from thence he shall come to judge the quick and the dead. I believe in the Holy Spirit, the Church universal, the communion of saints, the forgiveness of sins, the resurrection of the body and the life everlasting. Amen.
