Dr. Eddy Moise, Jr.

Pastor, Coach, Public Speaker, Spiritual/Mental Health Wellness, Advocate and Mentor are some of the roles that Eddy Moise, Jr. represents. Pastor Eddy Moise is a native of Brooklyn, New York who believes in educating and uplifting all people. Eddy has committed to helping people overcome challenges and the many obstacles of life through crisis intervention, pastoral counseling, preaching/public speaking, and spiritual/mental health wellness. Eddy strives to help others find a deeper meaning for their lives.
He is a proud graduate of the Florida State University with a Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, a graduate of Barry University with a Master’s in Social Work, and a graduate of Turner Theological Seminary at the Interdenominational Theological Center with a Master of Divinity. He received his doctorate from Knox Theological Seminary with his dissertation on Church Hurt: A Solution-Focused Model To Help Church Leaders With Trauma in The Church.
While at ITC, Pastor Moise was a Bishop Frank Madison Reid Scholar Middler year, Theta Phi Scholar, and recipient of the Dean’s Award from Turner Theological Seminary in 2006. Dr. Moise is a 2023 Turner Theological Seminary Preacher Hall of Famer.
Eddy Moise has served in Mental Health/Social Work, has worked as an Adjunct Professor, and presently serves as the Servant Leader of Greater St. Paul AME Church in Coconut Grove, Florida. Pastor Moise also serves as the Chair of the South Annual Conference Board of Examiners where he is responsible for all clergy pursuing ordination. He was also the Executive Producer of a CD, “It’s A Brand New Day”.
Pastor Moise is a member of the Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc, where he served as the Florida Statewide Chaplain. He is also a 5,000 Male Role Models of Excellence Mentor and is involved in many initiatives that aid in uplifting humanity.
Eddy has incorporated his social work background with ministry. Pastor Moise is called to help the hurting, and show encouragement, compassion, concern and care to those in need to improve their overall wellness.
In recent years, Eddy has found himself helping many people from all walks of life and felt called to expand his reach and touch more lives. From this, Quiet Storm Wellness, was birthed which is a platform that continues to positively impact the lives of many while promoting wellness. He is also the originator of his weekly social media “Weathering the Storm” podcast, where he provides spiritual wellness and inspiration. Dr. Moise is also the President/CEO of The Esperanza Foundation, Inc., a non-profit that focuses on instilling hope and improving the lives of youth by providing support and assistance to children and families, HIV population and addressing mental health needs.
Eddy is the proud husband of Roberta, married 30 years, and proud father of 3 wonderful children. Pastor Moise always says, “People ought to see the sermon through the life that I live and not just through the words that I speak.”
